(and Bring Your Bible)
This will be our theme during Lent.
As we begin full preparations to celebrate for our fiftieth year of
ministry, it is essential for us to be clear about who we are, and why
we are.
Being grounded in the Word is essential for this clarity to grow in
and among us. Knowing the stories helps us discover our story.
So, please bring your Bible to church on Sunday mornings and on
Wednesday evenings during this Lenten season. Evening Prayer will
begin each Wednesday at 7:00, with a simple meal of soup and salad at
6:00.
If you do not have a Bible, check with Pastor for a recommendation or
pick up the sheet in the sanctuary for suggestions.
Whether your copy of the Bible is old or new, make an effort to bring
it along. Consider it your Lenten discipline. Forget giving up
cookies. Bring your Bible to church!
