Pastor's Thoughts...

The Assignment April 7, 2008
Recognize your "heart blockage" – what is getting between you and experiencing God?

Seek to be open to the people God brings into your path this week.
Do not ignore or overlook.
Listen.
Be present to them.
See them, not as “a needy person”, but as a person bearing Christ.
Pray that you might also bear Christ to them.

1 John 3:17-19
If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God’s love? It disappears.
And you made it disappear.

My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love. This is the only way we’ll know we’re living truly, living in God’s reality.

BIBLE STUDY RESUMES APRIL 7
MONDAY 6:30 - 7:30

We will pick up our study of the Gospel of John at chapter 11.
All are welcome. It is a great way to be grounded in God's word
after the work week begins. It's good to read the Bible, but it's
even better to hear it with others -- the word comes alive in new,
often unexpected ways. Monday Night Bible Study -- try it!

1 Peter 1:17 Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness
of God. (The Message)

(monday night Bible study helps you connect with that deep consciousness)

Church Council meets every second Monday of the month @ 7:30 PM in the back of the sanctuary.  All are welcomed to attend, even if you are not on council.
